North Sea Supply Connect is about decreasing the thresholds that hold back Small and Medium sized Enterpsrizes in the North sea region to engage in (large) procurement procedures. Governments and intermediairy organisations alike all have interest in the growth of local and regional economies. To encourage these economies to grow, individual companies must grow. North Sea Sypply Connect is about increasing the accessibility of open markets, to improve competitive conditions for small and medium sized companies.

So far, the partnership extends from Belgium to The Netherlands, Northern Germany, the UK and Sweden. Finland, The Baltic States, Poland, Denmark and Sweden again operate on the same modus in the Baltic Sea Project. Check their site for more information: www.balticsupply.eu.
