Brugge, BELGIUM – Over 15 organisations participated in the Train-the-Trainer workshop ‘European Business Support Network’, offered by Syntra West (provider of vocational training and guidance to SMEs) on 28 June.
Now that the European Business Support Network has been launched it is time to make good use of it! In order to promote the use of this support platform for business and export promotion, Syntra West organized a train-the-trainer workshop in June 2012. Regional development agencies and business development organizations were present to learn all about the possibilities of the platform and the services that can support them in their guidance of enterprises.
On 28 June 2012, Syntra West opened its doors for interested project members and members of their network. Participants from several partner countries attended the one-day seminar and were given an overview of how one can use the European Business Support Network as a BDO/RDA. Coaching local SMEs towards foreign markets, finding the right business partners, finding the right training solutions according to companies’ needs and supporting tendering procedures and innovation processes, the EBSN offers innovation and support in many ways.
The day before the seminar, participants joined to have dinner together and exchange experiences in the field of international business support. The next day, an interactive workshop took place, exploring the online possibilities of the EBSN. Reactions of participants showed that curiosity aroused, to say the least. Syntra West will definitely continue to promote the use of the Network in order to generate as much interest and use as possible!
